There is another Moose in the area that makes this one look small.

Way too Close to this Bull Moose, it always amazes me that people want to approach animals like they are pets. here is a photographer that has the gear to stand back away from the animal but chooses to get dangerously close. A good photographer should try to maintain enough distance as to not impact the wildlife and be safe. Moments before this Moose walked by a smaller Moose had stopped and stared him down, he was fortunate the Moose decided to just move on. There is good access to taking photos of these guys without taking chances.

Young hawk on the fence behind my workplace. It's always fun to watch the development of birds and animals especially when you can see them on a regular basis.

Arches and Canyonlands National Parks https://bobcrossphotos.zenfolio.com/blog/2012/11/arches-and-canyonlands-national-parks

We had a chance to visit both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks this summer and although we only had a day to see the sights in both parks we had a great time and felt we saw a lot of the sights. I am looking forward to going back some time soon and spending some quality time shooting some of the sights now that I kind of know where to go. This was just a short weekend get away but it was a lot of fun, if you have never been I would highly recommend it.

Bob's Photo Blog https://bobcrossphotos.zenfolio.com/blog/2012/5/bob-blogs

dragon tail couloir Taken from the roadside inside the Rocky Mountain National Park. It was not really the most ideal time of day to take a scenic shot but the blowing snow coming of the peaks really helped make the shot. I had stopped and shot from this area of the road before but always with a wider angle lens, this time I had a 80-400 lens on the camera so I decided to focus on just the peaks. I really like the the effect of the rugged peak with coldness of the snow.
